Beatrix is a furniture maker and artist in wood. She uses traditional joinery, steam-bending and carving to make functional and sculptural work for private and public spaces.
Beatrix has studied at the Krenov School of Fine Woodwork in California where she developed her knowledge of furniture making. She is also a recipient of QEST funding, which allowed her to study on the King’s Foundation Building Arts Programme and develop her skills as a furniture maker.
