Emma joined Sylva Foundation in 2024 as Product Manager for Sylva’s Environment Programme working across innovation projects and in collaboration with strategic partners in the forestry industry, such as the Forestry Commission, and in other related sectors.
She has more than 15 years of business experience in web product development, strategy and project management to the organisation. Emma previously worked on the development of various digital products for clinicians and researchers, including on the launch of BMJ Best Practice at the British Medical Association. Prior to joining Sylva Foundation, she worked at Elsevier for 10 years and was most-recently a Product Manager for ScienceDirect, the largest publisher platform for scientific content with 20M research articles, over 100M visits per month, and the world’s most accessible homepage on the web. When not working on product development initiatives Emma can be found admiring the butterflies on a wildflower meadow walk or petting the office dogs at Sylva.
