Our CEO Dr Gabriel Hemery was an invited speaker at the opening of the Chilterns Box Woodland Project last Friday. He talked about his forthcoming book The New Sylva, marrying together old wisdom with modern concepts on the silviculture of box (Buxus sempervirens).

He read excerpts from Evelyn’s original text, and from the now completed manuscript on Box written for The New Sylva, to an audience of artists, musicians, landowners, naturalists and others.
