Join Sylva in celebrating our wood culture during 2014
The Sylva Foundation is undertaking many activities during 2014, the 350th anniversary of the publication of Evelyn’s Sylva, and our fifth year since becoming a charity. Celebrations include the publication of The New Sylva, sponsored by us and published by Bloomsbury in April, and our support of a series of exhibitions and trails across the UK and Ireland during the year. To bring all these activities together we have launched a new campaign:

Love Trees Love Wood is a campaign celebrating our relationship with trees and wood. There are two ways that you can share your love . . .
- Share your stories and photos – we are collecting messages from people around the world about trees and forests. Why not share your love? Post your stories, photos and films on our Facebook page.
- Give & support forest education – help us raise money towards a program of exciting education work with young people. All proceeds to the charitable work of the Sylva Foundation and selected education partners (to be announced soon).
