Innovative Project Launched to Enable Biodiversity Recovery in Woodlands Across England

An innovative new project known as Biodiverse Farm Canopies (BFC) has been launched to support biodiversity uplift in England’s woodlands. By enhancing woodland condition through effective long-term management plans, owners can generate valuable biodiversity units, opening a new revenue stream while contributing to local nature recovery.

Rising from the ashes

We congratulate Louise Hill on successfully defending her DPhil at the University of Oxford. Louise is the third (and sadly final) Oxford-Sylva scholar. Over the last four years she has been researching the impacts of ash dieback. Here Louise describes in her own words what she has achieved, and what our support has meant to her personally. Well done Louise!
