Building works at the new Sylva Wood Centre are progressing well with the main build phase due to complete at the end of February.

We are pleased to have attracted a number of commercial tenants to run their wood businesses from the Wood Centre. Our first incubation unit has been agreed with a young Oxfordshire-based furniture designer-maker. We have a number of small units still available to anyone who has a fledgling wood-based business, or even those who may want to start a new business under the shelter of our incubation facilities. Later this month we will be installing an innovative home-grown hardwood timber product at the building, and look forward to promoting the exciting new material.
We will be opening the Sylva Wood Centre to the public during Oxfordshire Artsweek: 16-25 May.
