Sylva is a tree and forestry charity. We aim to revive a wood culture by conducting tree research, working with young people and the general public, and by supporting the woodchain.

Sylva Science We undertake research and promote tree science through our Forestry Horizons think-tank. In 2010 we will be launching the Sylva Scholarship with a leading UK University, and an exciting new tree "citizen science" project. |
Sylva Education Our environmental education project OneOak is following the life story of one oak tree. Three hundred school children, scientists, artists and dozens of wood users are involved. We work closely with Forest School in England. |
Sylva Forestry Our innovative myForest service revolves around an online web-map of woodlands, products and businesses. It provides an online management planning account for woodland owners. Forestry and wood businesses can register for free. |
