The very first WoodWords™ event at Sylva Wood Centre last weekend was sold out! 150 people were inspired by our enthralling speakers, all of whom passionate advocates for trees, woodland and the process of making in wood.

Explore our new education resource on the TIMBER! website. It offers teachers and educators inspiring resources about British trees, forests and timber. Many of the resources have been developed from the Sylva OneOak project, with new materials provided by environmental educators across Britain. Last Saturday we hosted our first woodworking course at the Sylva Wood Centre. The course was organised on behalf of the Oxfordshire Natural Beekeeping Group.
