Working with the RSPB to support sustainable woodland management

Sylva staff recently met with members of the RSPB Woodland and Reserves team at a small woodland reserve in Buckinghamshire. Discussions centred on how more active and productive management could improve the woodland for biodiversity as well as bringing in a small amount of income to offset running costs.

We’re pleased to annouce the launch of two major updates to the myForest service. The management planning template that links with Forestry Commission England is now live, and we have completely updated the mapping tools to create a simple yet fully functional online GIS.
